The ideal activity
- We offer workshops from 12 to 30 participants. For larger groups we like to look at the possibilities for a combination with, for example, a wine tasting.
- Our cooking workshops costs € 79.50 all-in including unlimited beer / wine / soda / coffee / tea, apron and recipe, duration: 4 – 5 hours.
- The room has a minimum turnover of € 1000,-
We offer the following themes:
Honest and pure dishes with home-grown ingredients! With the richness of ‘ Het Groene Hart’ in our backyard, we are assured of tasty and special products.
During this workshop we prepare a delicious 4-course dinner with local products and ingredients from our own greenhouse.
Italian cooking is cooking with passion! Taste the Italian sun in the fresh pasta and enjoy the fragrant herbs. A traditional dessert can not be missed. Cooking and enjoying the Italian way with the most delicious dishes from the most delicious and eaten kitchen in the world!
Are you a true vegetarian or do you not like fish and meat? Then this is the workshop for you. During this workshop you work with many different types of fresh vegetables and you make a delicious ravioli and risotto.
Mezze are like oriental tapas. A vaiety of cold and warm dished willbe prepared by you, so taste away! A lovely and informal way of dining together. Grab and eat what you like. Want something out of the ordinary? Try this workshop!
Thailand is a well loved country for a vacation and that’s for a reason! Besides the beautiful beaches peope will always tell you about the lovely food . Most of the oriental dishes in Holland have a bit of Dutch flavours or twitst in them, but with this workshop you will experience the traditional flavours of Thailand!
Leidsche Markt Workshop
(excluding boat rental)
On market days (Wednesday and Saturday) you are most welcome for the Leidsche Marktworkshop. Meet each other at our cozy bar, step on board, enjoy the Leiden waterways and pick up ingredients at the Leidsche Markt. By boat you go back to Meelfabriek Zijlstroom and then prepare with the ingredients a delicious 4-course dinner.
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by the chef. Then he explains what the program looks like. The group is split into four, each group makes one of the courses. Everyone goes to work at the same time. The chef keeps an eye on the planning. Dinner is eaten together in the cooking studio.
Apart from the themes below, it is also possible, in consultation, to choose one of the themes such as game and Christmas. Contact us for more information.

Duck, hare, and venison. Each ending of fall starts the game season. You will prepare lovely game dishes with various garnish, mushrooms, sauces and a dessert of apple.
